Last night I was asked by my friend Rev. Deb Gordon to give her a description of what I will be sharing with her spiritual community, the Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna during my upcoming Living In Solution Workshop. I shared with her my "official promo" page for workshops and she said; "Our marketing person was actually looking for something more personal." This was my reply.

I love what I do, from music to speaking to workshops there is a common thread of sharing my personal journey of faith and encouraging others to live in truth and trust. My father always said, "honey just make a decision, you can always make another one." I think we get so caught up in censoring and judging ourselves and disaster fantasizing that we sabotage and paralyze ourselves. The work that I do with coaching clients, classes and workshops helps people to get off the fence in their lives and start creating consciously. Since the laws of the Universe are always working and we are therefore creating the circumstances of our lives based on our beliefs and our consistent mental atmosphere, why not engage in life intentionally and live as Dr. Holmes said in "expectancy of our good." 

I was grateful for the request from Deb and woke with the thought of "expectancy" still on my mind and what a key role it plays in our lives. What are you expecting? Think about it!

Today I taught my Living In Solution class and our conversation flowed around...you guessed it...expectancy. When we train ourselves to look for the good and the interconnectedness of life, we find it.   What you seek, you find. Our opportunity is to live in such a state of awareness that we see the "coincidences" of life not as happenstance but rather as the fabric of life being woven together for our highest and best life, following the lead of our open heart and directed intention. The second part to finding and living from this gift is to notice the difference between "expectancy" which is based in faith and "expectation" which is rooted in fear. 

Today I choose to remind myself that life is always for me and I EXPECT to see the evidence of this in my loving and harmonious relationships, my healthy body, my satisfying career and my abundant life. And so it is!
