Awake & Alive is Christy's first live recording. Recorded in one night at the Acoustic Coffeehouse in Charlotte, NC, Christy played to a packed house of excited fans and the magic was captured on this CD filled with laughter, stories, acoustic guitar, harmonica and Christy's southern charm.

I invite you to listen to my very first flute CD. There is a healing quality about this CD that I can only attribute to the connection to spirit I felt flowing through me as I always do when I play the flute. I focused my attention and energy on 14 topics that came to me in meditation until I felt that each one was complete. I focused on the topics but allowed the energy, love and music to free flow through me as I played. Spirit Dance is more a "mood of a magical night" than it is a collection of individual flute songs like my first flute CD Remembering The Way. Because of that there are no titles; there are only 4 tracks that include the crickets, me, my flutes and the magic of the high desert New Mexico mountains.
